Expensive for a latin american like me, but not completely impossible. Many of the teaching staff also give classes or do research at local universities. I had traveled extensively through Latin America before doing my Master's degree, but had never gone through a more More. Maybe a good deal for the next years. Students will spend three weeks in February participating in home stays and undertaking an intensive Latin American culture course. I just placed an order for the book Latin: An Intensive Course (Moreland & Fleischer). Intensive group courses at the academy are taught by experienced and highly motivated teachers, all of whom have university degrees in relevant disciplines (linguistics, literature, education). Taught by Professor Philip Walsh. 'Elementary Latin I' is an intensive course designed to introduce you to the basic elements of the Latin language. To this end, three sub-regional intensive courses (i.e. I am currently working through a Greek composition course by myself, and I am a little confused by word order in even simple sentences. Selected Asia in 2009; the Pacific in 2010; and Central Asia in 2011) will be provided. Reality, however, set in as I was thrust into teaching Intensive Latin (at the local university). This will be an excellent introduction to Latin American and the program. Is anyone here currently working from it? It will be a while before it arrives here, but I wanted to know what you guys think of it as a text. For me, Academia Buenos Aires has been the ideal place to freshen up my Spanish.
